This was of a great interest for all citizens of Busovača. All of the planned activities were carried out through different study circles performed in Busovača and Kaćuni. This resulted with the number of 60 circles, all of them based on a Swedish model of education; the goal was accomplished-490 participants, 47 study courses at Busovača centre and 13 courses at Kaćuni department.

The founders of the centre, respectable friends from Uddevalla and Palme Centre from Stockholm, did their very best to make both offices (Busovača and Kaćuni) equipped with high technology equipment needed for the circles performance. Old computers were replaced by new, modern one, which made it easier for the participants to learn with the help of new computers, projectors, DVD players etc.

At this point, participants were mostly interested in informatics, more precisely internet usage. The interest in foreign languages was on the level of 2006, while on the other hand, the interest in sewing and tailoring increased, especially among women.

National structure of participants in 2007 is as follows:

  1. Croats-223
  2. Bosniacs-248
  3. Serbs-19

Gender structure of participants in 2007 is as follows:

  1. female -367
  2. male -123

It is important to emphasize that the social structure of the participants was mixed-there were primary and secondary school students, university students, retired persons, office workers as well as intellectuals. The participants who attended the education were not only from of Busovača, but also from other municipalities such as Vitez, Travnik, Kiseljak and Zenica.

In 2007, ABF Busovača had 12 course leaders-instructors engaged, of which 9 in Busovača and 3 in Kaćuni.

Both, multi-ethnic structure of the course leaders and their professionalism guaranteed that ABF Busovača would contribute to better life quality in the future, as well as help the positive reputation of municipality of Busovača, to develop and strengthen in respect to the country and the rest of the world. The age, gender and the nationality of the participants, as well as their social structure guaranteed ABF Busovača to have a bright future in the following years.

It is important to mention the unselfish, meaningful and concrete help of Municipality of Busovača, its mayor and Municipality board chairman. This help resulted in including ABF Busovača into annual budget of Municipality for 2008.

Radio Busovača contributed to informing citizens about the work of ABF Busovača throughout its daily program, informative radio show and its web page. This cooperation was soon enriched with new contents and shows made with help of Student’s association.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
